New year, new baby {State College, PA newborn photographer}

LOTS of exciting things to share for the new year, but first up? A new baby!

Meet Greyson. Who was born into the most incredible family ever. I can confirm that because I got to take his big sister’s newborn photos a few years ago! And I know he is beyond loved, but feel free to leave him a little more.

Sparkle Saturday! {Twinkle Sessions: Christmas Photobooth fun!}

I’m a mom, a wife, a homeowner and a business owner, so I know EXACTLY how crazy this time of year can get. Your best efforts at making a holly jolly Christmas can run you so ragged that you just want to crawl underneath the tree with a mug of heavily-spiked hot chocolate. (And not emerge until January 2.)

So I thought I’d kick off your holiday season right!

After you’ve devoured turkey and all the trimmings, gather your favorite people and prepare to laugh. I’m going to help inject a little FUN in your holiday weekend to counterbalance the long lines and getting the tree to stand upright.

Twinkle Sessions. One day. Fifteen minutes. Be silly. Laugh, relax and have FUN.

Go the classic route, be yourself and shine in front of some pretty lights — OR — pick a favorite from my stock of Christmas props and ham it up old-school photobooth style. Either way I guarantee you’ll make some awesome memories with your loved ones and have some kickin’ photos to keep, share and enjoy.

New this year? This fantastic Christmas-themed stick set! (C’mon. You’ve always wanted to rock a carrot nose. Admit it.)

And of course I still have my tried-and-true favorites. (As illustrated in these photos of MY favorite people from last year.)

My family had SO much fun playing around with my Christmas goodies for a few minutes, and it resulted in some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken in the studio this time of year. If I’m being 100% honest, they didn’t even change outfits after work and school, touch up messy hair or anything. It was completely relaxed, spontaneous and just plain enjoyable.

Come and see for yourself!

I’ll be taking TEN reservations for Saturday. That’s it. These sessions have become a heavily-requested annual favorite, so they’ll go fast! It’s a great holiday activity in itself or stop by on your way out to dinner, shopping, getting your tree, whatever! Then you’ll have the photos to share with family and friends in a week, and you can enjoy them all season long.

These times are available. I will cross them off as they are filled.

11:00-11:15     11:25-11:40     11:50-12:05     12:15-12:30     12:40-12:55

2:05-2:20     2:30-2:45     3:55-4:10     4:20-4:35     4:45-5:00

Can’t wait to see you soon! (I’ll be armed with more than my camera phone, promise.)

Heather {State College, PA portrait photographer}

When Heather, a soon-to-be graduate at Penn State, requested a session at Beaver Stadium, I was all over it. Keep an eye out for her because she already landed a job at AccuWeather. This face will be coming to a TV in your living room soon!

Mr. & Mrs. Rhein {State College, PA wedding photographer}

Elodie and Chris’ wedding had the most gorgeous details. It helps when you have a historic early 19th Century estate as your backdrop. I had the pleasure of photographing Chris’ sister’s wedding in 2012, so it was such an incredible honor to be hired by the same family again this year. And to see everyone welcoming another person into the fold.

I know I say it all the time, but I’m so incredibly blessed to be a part of such wonderful moments.
